Tokenomics & treasury

Every token belongs to the community

All 24,000,000,000 EVRY sits in 9 community-governed treasury pools. No tokens exist outside them. Nothing was set aside for founders, investors or a team.

Why it is built this way

In most token projects, insiders receive a large share before the public arrives and can sell it to the people who do the work. Evrylife removes that possibility at the root: there is no insider share to sell, and the supply can never be increased.

The EVRY token

  • Token: EVRY (ERC-20 on Ethereum, bridgeable via Hyperlane).
  • Total supply: 24,000,000,000 EVRY, hard-capped, immutable.
  • Release: a rolling declining-balance release (treasury_release_formula = declining_balance_v1). There is no fixed emission rate.
  • Anti-greed: zero founder, investor or team allocation. All tokens go to the community.

The 9 treasury pools

Each pool has one job, and each is directed by community consensus.

A treasury that cannot be drained

A fund that can be spent all at once eventually is. So the pools release slowly, by formula: each month, a fixed fraction of whatever remains.

monthly_release = pool_balance_at_month_start / (rolling_period_years × 12)

It is recomputed every month on the current balance, so money flowing into the treasury automatically extends the pool.

  • It never runs out. Each month releases 1/(Y×12) of what remains. The balance approaches zero but never reaches it.
  • No moving money between pools. Pool allocations are fixed (an anti-greed immutable). Protection against depletion comes from this formula plus community-governed inflow routing.
  • Governed dials: the rolling period (20–40 years, set by consensus) and the safety cap max_monthly_treasury_release_pct.
  • Example: tp05 staking (3.6B EVRY, 20 years) releases 15,000,000 EVRY in month 1; month 2 releases (3.6B − 15M + inflows) / 240; and so on, indefinitely.

There is no separate APY-style emission rate. Effective staking yield emerges from monthly_release ÷ total_staked, so it balances itself: more stakers means a lower yield per staker.

Staking and treasury dials

Governed settings, read from the public rulebook each time this site is built:

SettingDefaultRangePurpose
min_pogo_stake10050–500Minimum stake for full platform access
enterprise_channel_min_stake500100–100000Minimum stake for enterprise channels
max_monthly_treasury_release_pct51–15Safety cap on any month's treasury release

Staking is waived during bootstrap and enforced at token launch. Violating the community guidelines slashes stake, and slashed stake returns to the treasury.

Where new money comes from

The rolling pools receive ongoing inflow from:

  • Causes donations from member subscriptions
  • Causes donations from member sales
  • Slashing for violating community guidelines
  • Micro fees from swaps
  • zkr-POGO-as-a-service fees (other communities using zkr-POGO)
  • Compute and bandwidth as a service fees

How members earn

Members earn EVRY by completing zkr-POGO tasks: reviewing moderation cases, builds and proposals. A reward is calculated as base_reward × role_multiplier × consensus_quality and comes from the matching pool (tp03 for moderation, tp04 for development). You choose in your profile whether rewards are claimed to your wallet automatically or held for you to claim.

Causes: giving back is built in

The causes treasury distributes across 6 pillars:

Relief for natural disasters

16.67% of the causes treasury.

Healthcare access

16.67% of the causes treasury.

Clean water access

16.67% of the causes treasury.

Housing & economic development

16.67% of the causes treasury.

Renewable energy

16.67% of the causes treasury.

Environmental restoration

16.65% of the causes treasury.

Cause allocations are decided by consensus and can be adjusted by proposal.

Smart contracts

The promises above are enforced by code on a public blockchain, where anyone can read it.
